About Me

Hey! My name is Vida and I'm 23 years old. I was born in Tehran (capital of Iran) and raised in Germany and England. 

I grew up in a small city called Chester, which is northwest of England. I have loved growing up in so many diverse places throughout my childhood and I feel perhaps my love for travel has been influenced by my upbringing.

I never knew what I wanted to do with my life but I certainly knew that I wanted to live in the present and enjoy everything life has to offer. I was in my first year at University studying psychology in 2014 and I knew I didn't want to spend my summer working in retail! I decided to look into Camp America and I literally decided the day before recruitment day that I was going to give it a shot. It all happened so quickly and before I knew it I was on a flight to Boston and later at camp in Cape Cod, Massachusetts about to spend the next 4 months working as a camp counselor. After arriving home of course it was natural to feel a little down. I knew that this could not be the end and this was the exact moment I knew that I wanted to keep travelling and exploring the world. Since then I have recently visited my 25th country which was Italy!

I have created this website as a platform to share my experiences and top tips of places I have visited. I felt that when I was planning my trips I always looked for top tips from other travellers and therefore I wanted to create one myself! I hope that every reader can get you can get something out of this platform.
